Women Who Care

Welcoming all women to attend our meeting that helps raise money for local nonprofits within Kalamazoo County. Anyone can attend as a guest. Members are able to nominate the local nonprofit to be awarded the quarterly amount of money raised.

As a pledged member (having signed and submitted the pledge form), you can nominate a local 501(c)(3) charity benefiting the people of Kalamazoo County.
Note: Presenters cannot be the CEO/Executive Director but may work or volunteer for the nonprofi t.
Charity Selection & Meeting Process:
1. Nomination: Members submit ballots with their name and nominated charity.
2. Selection: Three ballots are randomly drawn.
3. Presentation: If chosen, you will have fi ve minutes to present, covering key points about the non-profi t (see suggestions below).
4. Q&A Session: Members will have five minutes to ask follow-up questions.
5. Voting: Majority vote determines the winning charity.
6. Donations: Members contribute via check or online payment, collected that night and over the following weeks.
