SUMMARY:Women Who Care
DESCRIPTION:Welcoming all women to attend our meeting that helps raise money for local nonprofits within Kalamazoo County. Anyone can attend as a guest. Members are able to nominate the local nonprofit to be awarded the quarterly amount of money raised. \nAs a pledged member (having signed and submitted the pledge form)\, you can nominate a local 501(c)(3) charity benefiting the people of Kalamazoo County.\nNote: Presenters cannot be the CEO/Executive Director but may work or volunteer for the nonprofi t.\nCharity Selection & Meeting Process:\n1. Nomination: Members submit ballots with their name and nominated charity.\n2. Selection: Three ballots are randomly drawn.\n3. Presentation: If chosen\, you will have fi ve minutes to present\, covering key points about the non-profi t (see suggestions below).\n4. Q&A Session: Members will have five minutes to ask follow-up questions.\n5. Voting: Majority vote determines the winning charity.\n6. Donations: Members contribute via check or online payment\, collected that night and over the following weeks.
